Cernach Housing Association

Cernach Housing Association is a successful and well performing community-based registered social landlord operating in the Drumchapel area in north west Glasgow. Our vision is about "supporting a vibrant community by offering affordable, good quality homes and services with people at the heart of everything we do".

We own 877 homes and we provide a management service to 16 sharing owners and 141 homeowners.

We use a points system to decide who is made an offer for a property. Points are awarded for a range of circumstances to applicants in housing need e.g., overcrowding and medical conditions.

Cernach has its own general housing waiting list as well as an internal transfer list for current tenants where their current housing is no longer meeting their household’s needs. We also allocate to homeless households through our local lettings plan with Glasgow City Council.
